These stick out to me cuz I was there lol.
-Quentin's 2 homer performance against Lackey and the Angels on Sunday Night Baseball, the 2nd one being a walkoff. -Swisher's walk-off homer vs Detroit and that scumbag Zumaya. -Play in Blackout. -The game where TCQ hit the go-ahead/game-winning bomb against the TEX closer at the 'Cell and TCQ was so fired up and absolutely going nuts. And of course, all the games of the '05 World Series. |

For sheer 9-inning impact, I don't think any Sox victory has ever delivered more than the one-game playoff victory over the Twins back on 9/30. It's the first time the Sox ever played a do-or-die playoff game against another playoff team in the same straits. It was simply awesome to watch...
The prior evening's victory by Gavin Floyd over Detroit was pretty awesome, too. I just loved knowing Gardenhire and all his whiny bitches were pissed off heading to MSP International for a one-day visit to Chicago. They never did make it to Tampa. Sucks to be them.
