Default Does anyone else think...

...the new green netting on top of Comiskey's centerfield batter's eye looks suspiciously similar to the "security screen" the Cubune wrapped around Wrigley Field?

"We had some left over."

"Believe me, it was a buyer's market!"

From the Daily Herald:

Jerry defends Cubs

From top to bottom, the Cubs and White Sox couldn't be more different, but that didn't stop Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf from defending his North Side enemies.

While talking to the Score's Mike North on Thursday afternoon, Reinsdorf said he doesn't blame the Cubs for putting up the blue bleacher screens.

"The Cubs are getting screwed,'' Reinsdorf said. "Those guys are stealing the Cubs' product and they have no right to do it. We don't let TV stations come in and steal it, so why should the Cubs let someone else do it?

"I think the rooftops were fine before it became a large commercial operation. All they do is take. They don't add anything to it for the Cubs.''
