I could definitely see McCulloch get a late season promotion to AA; he's improved nicely in W/S over last year. The ERA isn't down much, but the K/9 is up, GB/FB ratio way up, and his HR/9 are way down (.52 this year). His main problem seems to be the walks, which he can hopefully curtail.

i think i heard about the same time as the september callups. besides then, i dont think there THAT big on bumping ppl up in the system during the season. they've done it a few times this yr, but i dont think its that common. i dont believe in that, but i think thats how they look at it from what i've heard from other ppl....

Yeah, most leagues regular season ends then, but then there are playoffs. The Sox should be promoting guys right about now if they intend to do anything.
