I can't really answer your question since I've never stayed in a hotel in Baltimore, but just wanted to let you know that you probably wouldn't need to rent a car even if you stay near BWI. There is a train that runs from BWI to the city. In fact, it stops right at Oriole Park.

I'll be at those games too. If its anything like last year, there should be a great Sox fan turnout.

Stay at the Inner Harbor. There is absolutely NOTHING to do out near BWI.

I'll be making my fourth annual pilgrimage to Baltimore this year to see the Sox. Can't wait!

Another piece of advice: try the fried Pickles at Pickles Pub. Mercy!

Definitely stay at Inner Harbor and take the train to/from the airport.

Thanks to all. If I stay in the Inner H. and do it on priceline, will all the hotels be walkable or bussable? PS Is bussable a word!!!

There are plenty of hotels within a short walk/cab ride. You'll have no problem finding a place by Camden.

Just spent some time at the inner harbor today. It's a hop, a skip, and a jump from the ballpark and there's a ton of things to see and do there.

I'd definitely suggest staying in the inner harbor.

Stay in the Inner Harbor area. I made that trip in 2002, and it was a great one! The Inner Harbor itself has a nice shopping mall with restaurants. It's basically Baltimore's version of our Navy Pier. When I was there, I took the tour of Oriole Park and visited the Babe Ruth Museum which is a few blocks away from the ballpark.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn that's about a block from the ballpark. Easy walk, no worries about parking. Even did the tour of Camden. Awesome ballpark. The only bad thing is that Memorial Stadium is no longer around to see. When I was in Baltimore, the security guard wouldn't let me in, so I took some pictures from the outside. It was cool to see the place where Brooks Robinson and Johnny Unitas played.

This will be my 9th annual pilgimage to Balto.
I never have to worry about hotel accomodations since it's only 90 miles from Philly.
Hopefully I can get my winning percentage while in attendance back over .500.
And I might even bring along EastCoastSoxFan, Sr. (my dad, who is actually not on the East Coast but is most definitely a Sox fan)...

I travel to Bal alot with work, I'd second the advise in taking the train in from BWI, there are a couple of Marriott properties near, one is right accross the street also there is a sheraton within walking distance
