Default Happy Belated Birthday, Si Simmons- 111

The oldest living, former pro ballplayer, Si Simmons turned 111 on Oct 14. He was born in the same year as Babe Ruth.

Man, that's crazy. 111 years old. He was 70 in 1965. He started playing professional baseball in 1910, the year Yankees PA announcer Bob Sheppard was born. Chew on that one for a while.

Mr. Simmons, I wish you a belated happy birthday!

Everyone I know that's 90 or older has pretty much lost their mind. This guy is as lucky as they come to still have his right mind at 111

Man, Wikipedia has a page for everything. Milt Bocek, 94 years old. Si Simmons is old enough to be his father.

Beltin' Bo from Cicero, they had a special on him on CBS or something like that. It was sweet.
