I don't like the shoulder patch down on the wrist. Other than that, it's OK.

I like the black ones better. They look classier.

Bingo. Although I do agree about the tackiness of the patch's location.

I own the Black version of this. Being very well insolated, it's almost as warm as my Columbia.

This is a bit off topic (sort-of) but does anyone know if you can still find the black sweater/fleece that had a small Sox logo on the neck line? (No logo's anywhere else IIRC) If so, where can it still be bought? I believe it was being sold during the WS last year w/ the patch on the sleeve.

If you're referring to this it's available at Grandstand (www.grandstandsox.com) for $49.95, and Wrigleyville Sports (www.wrigleyvillesports.com) for $54.95. I've also seen it at the park (high mark-up) and places like Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, etc. for around the $50 mark. And if you're interested in having a patch put on, Grandstand does a great job.

I wish I knew because I'd love the short sleeve version for the spring & summer months. The players wear them, so they've got to be available somewhere.

Damn right! Keeps you toasty warm on cold winter days. I have the black version from the previous year, with all the patches in the proper place.

I thought that too went I first bought the black dugout jacket last year. However, once I wore it, I think the Sox Diamond patch is well-placed. I don't think I will run out to buy the grey/road/alternate version just because it has "Chicago vs. Sox", however it does offer a nice alternative.

I remember the original Gray road "Chicago" version was a hot commodity during it's first run, so hopefully those on the board who missed out have a second chance.

I remember a related story from two seasons ago when MLB and owners encourgaged the managers to wear the road gray jackets and Bobby Cox (Atlanta) publically saying he thought the gray-on-gray looked like *#&! and went back to wearing the blue dugout jacket. Funny.
