What is that, Yankees? We have a better record than you?

Oh yeah, that is right.

eh, I'm not surprised. some people might get pissy over what some of them said but you can't really blame them. Our guys have bad stats compared with last year and they probably haven't been watching JG make a complete 180 since the start of June and drop that atrocious ERA.

Well, some of them make some valid points. Others are brain-dead idiot Yankees fans.

I think it's safe to say the White Sox haven't pitched as well as last year. Is it safe to say that?

But they are still eating up innings, and the offense is so much better that we can absorb the somewhat inflated ERA's. Of course, that's going to have to change at some point, especially in the playoffs, but I'm confident that the Sox pitchers will be up to the task when the time comes.

Look no further than to Jon's big start last night.

Our guys might have a little fatigue in their arms. Why? Oh yeah, maybe because they actually CAN PITCH A FULL SEASON WITHOUT GOING ON THE DL 20 TIMES!

Someone should go ask the Yankees how Carl Pavano's doing.

Why should I care what the people at NYY.com have to say about the White Sox?

I don't think I saw too many "brain-dead" comments. I agree most of their comments were valid. IMO, the pitching is bad. I am not sure why anyone would say otherwise. The bullpen is weaker also. Are we still in good position to make the post season? Yes. However, I think the thread was about our pitching and how overrated it is. Do you disagree that it is/was overrated? Besides Garland lately, which pitcher is showing good stuff? Contreras has not been bad, but he even had some bad outings.

I didn't read the whole thread, but the impression I get is that they just think our staff is overrated.

And they're right.

It's hard to compare to last year, but that's what people are going to do regardless.

Im so mad right now. Some of these yankee fans had the nerve to say we are the best team in baseball, and theyd still take our rotation over any other. What a bunch of dicks over there....

seriously there were a lot of positive things said in that thread, whats the problem?

Seems like a lot of people who know what they're talking about. The thread title is a little deceiving, but overall, some very good discussion over there...
