Post Kevin Hickey !

Why are we world champs and the Cubs going nowhere, Kevin Hickey.
We have room in our budget for both a lefty and righty for batting practice. Dusty is moaning about not having a southpaw to prepare for games.
How much does a batting practice pitcher make, and why can't the Trib afford one?

It is unbelievable the extent that the Cubs organization will go to pin losses on anything but the performance of their players. The Cubs really are a joke. I think that you need to look no further for their reasons for futility than their manager. "In Dusty We Trusty" I believe was once the phrase. This guy will find any excuse as to why his team isnt winning. But it has nothing to do with him. Just ask him!

Flubsession made more sense back in 2003. There's really no need for it anymore. It's good to be king. Let's talk about the White Sox.

Wouldn't matter. They could have 12 bp pitchers and they'd find some other excuse.

So Rich Hill would help the Cubs more if he pitched batting practice?

Maybe it would help his confidence, not getting hit so hard.

Thank you for the great post! They're the people obsessing about the Sox. Every time a cub fan says "quit living in the past" to downplay the World Series they're really saying "I hate you. I envy you. I know I'll never experience the joy you experience last October." SCrew them. Other than Hangar's reviews of the cubune, can we leave those losers to themselves and enjoy the greatest era in White Sox baseball history unfolding before our very eyes?

I agree with the need for a lack of Flubsession (except for funny Cubune headlines, of course), but I should point out that their scoreless streak is ovaa. The second best starting third sacker in Chicago just went deep.
