Another distrubing trend is this...more two out RBI hits by the Royals tonight. Just in the 4th inning three runs crossed after two were gone.

I expected a sluggish start and said so, but I didn't expect this the first week. Two bad losses and a pissed away game on Wednesday.

Sigh...looks like I breakout some tapes from last season for the rest of the night.

Ozuna had no buisness in the outfeild. I don't think Garland did all that bad. on a plus side Mackowiak had a amazing catch today. if they can win the next 2 Ill be satisfied.

My 2 cents: we can't blame the whole game on our poor defense, or lack of timely hitting, but things are bound to turn around once Pods and Dye are 100%

I don't know if Posednik will ever be at 100%, like I said last week if the trainers say he can't hurt himself more he needs to be out there and play through it.

Sometimes the mental barrier is harder to overcome on an injury then a physical one.

And can anyone clue me in on Dye since I still haven't seen anything 'official.'

Championship hangover my ass! I had a feeling this crap would happen because the team would be stuck in 2005 and wouldn't be used to wearing the bullseye on their backs.

HOWEVER, a championship hangover doesn't include botching routine plays and playing dumb. This whole defense issue needs to get right and in a hurry.

I know the whole thought process of not giving up outs on the road, but why in the hell wouldn't you bunt two guys over in the eighth with no outs and the middle of your order coming up?
