Well, Fingernails on a blackboard leads all pitcher categories and we get to see what a $12 million Vazquez looks like tomorrow. Lets hope small ball and defense starts over again and the game today reminded everyone how to hit.

John became a headcase as the game went on. The first 3 innings he was lights out, striking out the side in the first inning, one on base in the second and nothing in the third. Like the hawk says, "the dreaded leadoff walk." It comes back to haunt us every time.

All righty. I didn't see the game. However, reading through this thread and looking at the boxscore, I've got a good idea of what happened. For those concerned about Pods, just realize that during an offseason that saw Garland, Contrereas, AJ, and Mackowiack get new deals, Pods didn't get one, despite an All-Star appearance.

As for the rest of this, yeah, yeah, we're four games in. I'll bet there are teams that started 1-3 that have won the WS. Plus, KC wasn't going 0-162, right?

Dude...you have to see highlights to appreciate how miserable this one was. The defense was best described as POPPYCOCK.

It was definitely one of those games that would make you taste your dinner again.
