The way the Sox were playing I watched the Wolves. 3 games left against Iowa. They have a chance for the final spot. Keep the Streak alive.

I feel like I felt after game 1 against the Angels. I thought we were done. But come on people!!!! After that we didn't lose again. We will be fine. Come September when we have a 20 game lead in the division we can all think back to the first 4 games of the season and laugh. I think the pitchers velocity will be down a bit as long as the weather is cool. Hawk and D.J. mentioned that the night started out nice and then became windy and colder.

I look up and see Vallario bothching a throw at second or booting a ground ball and I'm thinking 'what the hell is going on here?' Why are the regulars on the bench the final week of the season in the 6th or 7th inning?

Ozzie says he wants to see all the kids and how they perform. My response is if you have to rely on them in the first place come July you are in deep dung anyway. The point is get the guys who are going to make a difference ready to go.

There are times when I think maybe Daver had it right all along about Ozzie...we'll see. I'm beginning to get uneasy over his Manager Gandhi like tendencies.

I got here late and this thread is huge, so I did not go back to read all of it. But I do know what you are saying, I was thinking the same thing. Along with the Sox doing all the other stuff, i.e...wrestling, ect... it just seemed the focus is gone. Hope they can get it back.

Yeah, I switched over to the Wolves after the immortal Ross Gload killed a potential rally in the eighth tonight.

Iowa beat Omaha in OT tonight, which sucks, because Omaha still gets a point. That puts Iowa in fourth with 82 points, followed by Omaha (81) and the Wolves (79).

The Wolves not only need to beat Iowa, they need to beat them in regulation time.
