This isn't really the same as the Baseball prospectus stuff though it certainly seems to come up with some results just as goofy. I will say that there seems to be a preferance toward teams with a sabermetric makeup in any computer simulation. Which I think makes sense since the games and simulations seem to be built with those ideas in mind. But at least these guys are willing to admit that you can win playing with things like defense and pitching and bunts, they can't project it but they can say it's possible. That's better than a lot of people out there.

Though I must say I do find it rediculous that for the Twins projection they list Tony Batista as the starting 3b as a positive thing.

And I can actually somewhat buy the idea that the Angels could fall back to be an average team. I just don't buy that it's as likely as they make it out to be.
