I believe that ends the regular season for all our clubs, right? By the way, LTP hit 29 homers, which is pretty decent for a bust.

Yep, and if I'm not mistaken we have 3 teams in the playoffs. Not bad for a "depleted" farm system.

Winston-Salem finished the second half in a 1st place tie with Salem. The two teams have a one game playoff tonight. Ryan Rodriguez (12-7, 4.18) will pitch for the Warthogs.

And the only team that's out of contention (Charlotte) plays at a level that doesn't really reflect the quality of an organization's prospects.

Just a couple of highlights per ESPN's minor league stats for the year:

- Jerry Owens: .340 / .399OBP / .416SLG / 91R / 34SB / 17CS
- Rogowski: .291BA / .360OBP / .434SLG
- Sweeney: .289BA / .342OBP / .354SLG
- Young: .276BA / .369OBP / .553SLG / 24HR / 39 2B
- Brian Anderson: .295BA / .360OBP / .470SLG
- Borchard: .258BA / .329OBP / .474ALG / 26HR

Nice batch of hitters we have coming. It'll be very interesting to see what they do with Borchard through the rest of the month given the decision they have to make on him this offseason.

Doesn't look totally up-to-date (a couple days before seasons ended) For example, IIRC Young has 41 doubles. Valido stole nearly 50 bags, was almost never caught, hit for a nice average (dipped in August again this year though) and plays MLB-quality SS but didn't make the list?

It's whatever stats ESPN had, and the names that jumped off the page at me as I reviewed them. No science to it, and I'll be the first to say my minor league knowledge basically comes from this board, so I may easily have left guys off the list(as I did with Valido). It's just nice to see a bunch of guys performing at a high level.
