Default Great Falls & Bristol rosters

Great Falls' roster is now posted on the team's homepage. Notables include Allen, Getz, Roberts, Stumm (!), Rote, Nachreiner, Richard, Chirino, and Lemon.

I haven't seen the full Bristol roster yet.

Bristol's coverage and web page are pretty poor, but you can see at least a partial roster here:

http://www.tricities.com/servlet/Sat...3&path=!sports

Rotation =
Ramon Sanchez
Frank Viola III
Logan Williamson
?????
Derek Rodriguez

Position players:

Infielders:
1B - Josh Morgan
3B - Vernon Carter
UT - Michael Swain
UT - Dustin Shafer
UT - Christian Acosta
C - Reymundo Tavaras

Outfielders:
Salvador Sanchez

Sanchez and Acosta are the hitters to really keep an eye on while Ramon Sanchez is the best pitching prospect currently known to be on the roster...

Hmmm, Acosta is listed for both teams. Lots of guys who are apparently under contract are still unaccounted for, including Cunningham, Brooks, Cortez, Winn, Murphey, and Walters.

Nice to see the Sox are getting a few more prospects out of the Dominican. Their Latin American operations under-performed for a couple of years there, but in the last few we've produced a few legit prospects. And speaking of that, with Lucy doing the bulk of the catching at Kanny, any chance Fancisco Hernandez gets sent back to Great Falls?

As the Bristol roster continues to trickle in at minorleaguebaseball.com, it looks like the 2 rookie league teams combine for 3 different Acostas: Rolando, Christian, and Leonardo . . . all IFs.

The Bristol roster also currently lists the following former MIAs: Brooks, Cortez, Jean, Murphy, Rice, Rodriguez, Sabo, Winn, Evans, and Walters.

Still no sign of Cunningham.

There's been an Aaron Cunningham sighting! He's on the Bristol roster now.

Cunningham is on the Bristol Roster. I would be surprised if he and Brooks stayed at Bristol for more than a week or 2 to get their feet under them after a layoff from competition... Doesn't make sense to start either in Bristol otherwise, especially since Cunningham is from the northwest...

The Sox do use Bristol as a staging area for guys who they want to jump to Kanny but haven't played in a little while due to the proximity, and I'd guess that's why Cunningham and Brooks are listed there.

Hernandez will be the regular catcher at Great Falls, he reported late last week from what I heard.
