Default 6/3 games

B'ham is under way in Game 1. Villacis dug himself an early 2-0 hole.

Good to see the average finally increase. He must be pretty hot the last couple of weeks. Wasn't he down to about .150?

He went 0 for 1 with 3 walks and a stolen base tonight. Now the average is .213

The Knights lost again They better win tomorrow, because I'll be there

Borchard also had a very good throw from right field. I did not know he had the kind of arm he appeared to have. There was a runner on third and there was a deep fly ball to right and he caught it, the runner was tagging, and he threw one on the mark direction wise but was a little high. If it were lower it would have been a very close play. Borchard also took pitches well, but that may have been because he only got pitches over the plate on 3-0 counts.

Felix Diaz, pitched pretty well also. He gave up 3 runs, but pitched out of a bases loaded, no outs situation in the 4th inning, I believe. The bullpen couldn't nail the win down for him tonight. Errors cost the team majorly. Felix Martinez had an error, which led to 3 runs in the inning.

It would be great for Borchard to turn things around and give them another possible offensive weapon come September.

Good to see Joe take some walks and show some plate discipline.

With Brian Anderson and Joe Borchard, we should have some very qualified people in our minor league system to make a splash in the majors. Anderson still can, but how long will it take Borchard to get it together? Seems like we have more luck with lower round picks than ones in the higher rounds.

I was in Indy yesterday for the zoo and some family time and had the chance to go but the wife might have gotten a littly mad so I thought better. Wish I could have watched the Knight squad.

I think Borchards chances with us are over. If he catches fire the Sox will trade him.

I was thinking more along the lines of...

But I appreciate your optimism.
