I voted for Mark Buerhle to try to keep him 2nd. Prior is a close 3rd in the voting.

I voted for Kerry Wood and Mark Prior. They are both deserving. Wood once struck out 20 batters in a game. Wood strikes out a lot of guys so he must be the best pitcher in baseball.

Where is the Cubune love for Jose? 0-0, but his ERA is at 3.04, better than Zambrano or Prior.

Because he's looked about as bad as any pitcher with a 3.04 ERA as one has ever seen. Waaay too many walks to be taken seriously, at least at this point.

Why doesn't he get credit for pitching out of jams? A 3.04 ERA is a 3.04 ERA any way you cut it.

Yes and no. With his peripheral stats, it's unlikely he can keep that up. Pitchers who get in a lot of jams tend not to get out of all of them.
