B'ham - Owens was 3-for-12 with 4 Runs and 1 RBI. - Young was 3-for-12 with a 2B, 2 HR, a BB, 3 Runs, and 2 RBI. - Rogo was 5-for-9 with 3 2B, 4 Runs, 3 RBI, and a SB, raising his AVE to .394. - Fields was 2-for-12 with 1 RBI. - Sweeney was 3-for-5 with a 2B, a BB, and 2 Runs. - Gonzalez was 1-for-4 with 4 BB and 2 RBI. - Gray was 2-for-8 with 2 BB, 1 Run, and 2 RBI. - Stewart, a "no-hit cathcer," is batting .333 so far. - Tracey won his start, tossing 6.1 shutout innings. - Jenks, Reynoso, LaMura, Malone, Meaux, and Glen combined for 11.1 shutout innings of relief with 4 H, 6 BB, and 18 K. He's batting .355. - Schnurstein was 1-for-6 with 3 BB and a run scored. - Collaro was 5-for-13 with a HR, a BB, 3 Runs, 2 RBI, and a SB. - Flores threw 5 shutout innings in his start. - Rodriguez won his start, going 6 IP with 2 ER and 5 K. - Castro gave up 1 ER and struck out 3 in a 3-inning relief stint. Kanny - Berry was 4-for-13 with a HR, 2 BB, and 2 Runs. - Ricks played both IF corners and DHed, going 4-for-11 with a 2B, a HR, 3 BB, 4 runs, and 4 RBI. - Castillo was 5-for-15 with 2 2B, a Run, 2 RBI, and a SB. - Josh Hansen hit 2 more HR as RF/DH. He now has 4 HR and 9 RBI on the season, and is batting .333. - Hernandez was 2-for-7 with a 2B. He also threw out the only runner who tried to steal on him. - Delossantos got 2 starts at third and took full advantage, going 5-for-10 (all singles) with 3 Runs. - King started only one game, but was 3-for-5 with 2 HR, 3 R, and 5 RBI. - As previously reported, Liotta was lights out again, pitching 7 shutout innings with only 4 H, 2 BB, and 9 K. On the season, he's 12 IP, 1 ER, 16 K, just a shade "worse" than Gonzalez's numbers. - Harrell got knocked around a bit (4 IP, 4 ER, 3 HR), but Russell was okay (6 IP, 3 ER). - The Intimidators' pen was downright intimidating: 9 IP, 1 ER, 4 H, 0 BB, 9 K. |
