Heres my prediction for the 6 game series set and I'm sure most would agree. White Sox take series easily 5 games to 1. The one win comes from us just feeling sorry for the loser as by this time they are behind 1st place Houston by 20 games. (that would be hard to do being it not even mid-season, but they would find a way) Series sweep at SOX park boost the sox to a 40 game winning streak and we win the world series by not losing a game in teh playoffs

ONLY 5 wins? We are guaranteed to win at least 10 games against the ScRubs during the regular season. We only play 6, you say? Don't worry, Ozzie'll find a way. I'll say 10-0 with a combined score of 734-1.

But I think the Sox will go 3-3. Why, I just think that the Cubs are going to have a bad year and are going to switch their pitching staff around to face the Sox so they can brang about something in their utterly depressing season. |

I think a split is more realistic. As much as we might want the Cubs to be horrible, that pitching staff is still one to be reconed with.

It is always important to do well against the scrubs, just to shut up the mouthy no-nothing scrub fans fromtalking trash throughout the year. Other then that I would much rather focus on how we do against our division rivals in the upcoming year.

I figure we'll split, with each team defending it's home turf 2 games to 1.

I just don't want to get swept again, that July 4 loss was excruciating, especially if you were at The Urinal(I was). That loss was a stomach punch and factor in the ScRubs "fans" celebrating like they won the world series, just brutal.

I was so pissed at Shingo and Marte for blowing that game. Especially after Carlos hit that dramatic homer to tie it up...to lose the game on a walk was ridiculous. I would have rather had it end with a home run. I hope the '05 Sox can atone for last year's debacle. It was the first time since '98 that the Cubs took a season series against us and their fans acted as if they win against us all the time.

I figure the Sox will go 4-2. The Cubs' staff is still good, as much as I hate to admit it, but their bullpen is atrocious. I think that the new-look Sox will match up favorably against the power pitching of the Cubbies.

I think we will split it.
