Ramirez says he is looking for a four year deal worth anywhere from 10-13 mm a year from the Cubs. That seems like a hefty amount for someone's whose numbers have ballooned while playing at Wrigley. To tell you the truth, I don't know if I am in the minority or not, but 10 million a year for Aramis? I certainly would not want to pay him 13 mm a year. EDIT: Just realized that this should be in What's the Score? I keep forgetting about that forum. I apologize in advance. |

I heard he is planning on hiring Boras as his agent.

Man, I can't do anything right. I saw it listed, and thought it was recent news. Sorry.

Aramis is easily in the top tier of 3rd baseman in baseball, he'll get about 44M over 4 years from the Cubs. To quote Baker: "The dude can hit, man".

This guy has become a star over the last 2 years. I get so pissed when I think about the trade from the Pirates. One of the best 3Bs in the game for Bobby Hill?
![]() ![]() Besides Rolen and maybe Glaus and Beltre, who is better than Ramirez? I don't really count ARod because we all know he should be at short. C'mon Ramirez! Milk the Cubs out of as many dollars as possible!
