The Chicago Media, despite the fact they have implicitly agreed to
make Mark "The Messiah" Prior the city saviour, are
obviously not very comfortable having only ONE "Hero". This is easy
to recognize, because if an injury should happen to The Messiah,
there will be noone to carry the Propogandistic Load. Enter Nomar
Garciaparra. The Cubune in its own Kiley-esque way, says in its
headlines that Nomar is simply "another star in the galaxy" that is
Cub Baseball. Propoganda. The Media is funny, in that BOTH papers in the last week, try to take the 3rd person approach, and ask if the Media will make him the New "Face" of the Cubs (despite only being here 2 months. what a CROCK), not realizing they are the ones This is something that is very Vexing to the inherently LAZY Chicago Media, now that theyve helped to run out Sammy. They have noone to talk about !!!!!!!
The SOX get a Tribune full color picture on the FRONT PAGE!
However, Tribune wanna-be's, the Sun-Times keep the Propaganda
in proper perspective by putting a HUMONGOUS full color picture of
Nomar on the back cover, asking in its best Kiley-esque way, if
hes the new face of the cubs.
