Clammy Sosa, promo idea?

A while back there was a discussion about promo ideas for when Baltimore visits the Cell. On the second game, why not have Clammy Sosa and the rest of the Zooperstars there?

Boers and Bernstein interviewed the guy who "plays" Clammy Sosa today. Now, my post about this idea is a joke. However, it would be funny to mock Sammy with Clammy Sosa running around on the field.

Some classics here: Ichiroach Suzuki, Derek Cheetah, and the duo of Nomar Garciaparrot & Mia Hammster.


Some guys with way too much time on their hands and obviously looking (unsuccessfully) for jobs....

I live in Geneva and frequently go to Kane County Cougars games and they have Clammy Sosa apperances about once every week. The kids really enjoy it, my little sister loved it!

The Zooperstars, if the linky above doesn't cover it, are a group of air-inflated costumed entertainers that hit many, many parks on the minor league circuit. All of their characters are animal puns of MLB players and such. Another one is Harry Canary, a bird with big squared off black glasses that sorta looks like Harry Caray. Maybe they'll change Clammy Sosa's bio to make his residence the Chesapeake Bay.

Edit: The Zooperstars will be making 7 appearances at Elfstrom Stadium for the Kane County Cougars in 2005: 5/28, 6/17, 7/2, 7/4, 7/19, 8/4, & 9/4

The showed clammy sosa on Sportscenter last night. I think it was at the Wake-NC st. basketball game or something.

I saw that. Clammy Sosa ate some guy. It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life.
