Summer Collegiate Baseball Comes to Chicago 2005

Just a quick FYI to my Sox brethren. Starting in June 2005, there's a new franchise of the Central Illinois Collegiate League that will play its games at the new Sports Complex at Benedictine University in Lisle. Go to www.dupagedragons.com Their players are coming from the Southwest Conference as well as Cal St Fullerton, Notre Dame and some locals. The talent will be outstanding, the price of a ticket cheap, the stadium is new and the beer will be cold. I am told they've signed four players from Texas Tech, a couple from Arkansas and a local kid from Florida State. The local kid, Rory O'Connor starred at Oak Park River Forest HS.
