That was one of my favorite moments in baseball and it catapulted Schilling to my all-time favorite player. He was already right near the top of my list.

Apparently, the writer here never heard any of the hundreds of times Sosa invoked that phrase. Anyone who follows the game know he said that a ton back in 1998 when he was becoming America's biggest media darling. The exchange between Berman and Schilling was probably Berman telling him to be quiet because they were going back on camera.

Since the zer-O'S and Blo-Sawx are both in the AL East,
Schilling should be able to strike out the fake "gladiator" 200 times by himself.
