The Cubune is reporting Matt Smith as the 3rd pitcher in addition to Bajenaru and Ulacia. They also report Pedro Lopez, Rogowski and Anderson as the 3 position player representatives for the White Sox.
Early Baseball America rosters had McCarthy and Andy Gonzalez slated to play instead of Smith and Lopez. Probably a good move, as Lopez is probably a little more advanced right now and McCarthy, coming off the most IP'd in his life career, could use the rest... |

this is a great idea by the sox. letting bmac play could create another injury situation like wing, honel, malone, and stumm. the kid jumped 2 levels in one summer! let him rest!
