All the attention will make it hurt that much more when it turns out that McCarthy is the PTBNL in the Alomar trade.

Yep, and there's a nice, large picture of Mr. McCarthy in mid-delivery.

Sorry, I haven't figured out all the options on this site yet. Of course I was joking. I'll learn. Alomar is a godsend. There we go. Okay, I'm cool from now on.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you folks who follow the minor leagues so closely. I would have noticed that article in Chicago, but living across the country now I would have to dig a fair bit to find it.

I get 99% of my Sox Minor League info on this site and you folks are the reason why...

If the hype around this kid McCarthy is true then he's going to be the next Prior. I have heard multiple comments that he is exactly like prior. He even wears his sox like prior.

he is not like prior. he is taller and skinnier. prior has HUGE calves, he doesnt. he is only about 200 and about 6'7. priors like 6'4, 235. and prior throws harder. but BMac should be able to fill out that body and add some velocity as he gets older
