Default Another pretty good one from Gio

6 innings, 5 hits, 1 walk, 3 K's and one earned for Gio tonight in Kanny. This kid is what, 19 years old and he's already settling in quite nicely at Low-A. That's a tremendous accomplishment (his ERA is down to 3.26). You never know what to expect from a high school lefty because usually that's pretty risky business, but Gio has already met all of the high expectations that the organization has set for him so far

Let's bring him up!! lol

really, it will probably be a few years before he is on the adult team. but hopefully he keeps it up and becomes one of those can't miss to actually be a stud.

It's all about health with him

Whisler didn't get a decision, but gave up 6 H, in 6 IP, 3 early ER, 1 bB, and 5 K's. Not too great, not too bad either. Fields was 2-5 with a HR as well as W-S won in extra frames.

Not to pick at you, but he's still 18, and that's a very good start for a 22 yr old at Kanny.

Love his strikeout rate, k/bb rate, era, opponents avg. Between him and Bmac, sox fans have alot to be excited about.
