Default Felix Diaz-for those that get to see him play

Diaz's statistics suggest that he is probably ready for MLB. However, when he was up he had trouble leaving his off-spead pitches up in the zone which leads to homers. Has he corrected this? Is it possible that he does not realize he is doing it because AAA hitters do not make him pay for it the way major league hitters did? If so, wouldn't it make more sense for him to pitch out of the bullpen in the majors rather than starting in the minors so he can get this figured out? That's the way the Sox brought Buehrle and Garland along in 2000, and I think it benefited Buehrle at least.
