Since the local media in general and Jay Moronotti in particular seem intent on reporting to the masses every time someone burps out loud at The Cell; let's keep an eye on the people inside Wrigley this weekend. Anyone going to any of the games, report to the forum anytime you see someone (particularly if he's wearing Cub blue) start a fight, spill a drink, act drunk, hit on women, be obnoxious, use foul language or otherwise disrupt the "sanctity" of the place. Then we'll email all these stories to the papers and the Cubs advertisers and tell them the truth: that fools who attend ball games in Chicago aren't only found at The Cell.
I got a feeling there could be a lot of stories told this weekend, especially if the Sox take at least 2 of 3.It's probably an exercise in futility, but I felt better just writing this. |

Sunday's game is going to be dangerous. You have:
1. Sox/Cub game. 2. Last game of series. 3. 4th of July partying all day. 4. No work the next day. 5. Night game. 6. Plenty of bars after game nearby. 7. Increased emotions this year due to both teams in races. 8. Taste of Chicago ending at roughly same time as game-fewer cops avalable.

You're free to say what you want in the outside world, but this is a "totally biased" White Sox site, so the operators have seen fit to keep the outside agitator garbage out. You're free to set up your own anti-White Sox/pro-Indians message board if you want to, and say what you want. If you want to discuss your Indians or the White Sox in a non-trolling fashion, you're free to do so. Jumping in the middle of an argument you couldn't possibly understand and hurling insults against Sox fans is out of bounds. |

once again, i didn't intend to offend anyone by saying what i did
it just struck me as odd that you guys would care so passionately about what a proven bunch of morons (read: the media) have to write about you guys when all that should matter is that you just took a series from your arch rivals in that light, i find it rather ironic that you accuse me of trying to throw fuel on a fire when in reality it's just been proven once again by the existance of this very thread that it's in fact the media who can't help but throw fuel on every fire, however small it may be, they can find i say leave the bait for what it is, guys play ball! |

Everybody should keep score at the games. My buddy and I did the day/night doubleheader (wrigley then comiskey) and i kept score. People at Wrigley were like, what is he doing, what is that. So funny.

I'll be at Game 1 and Game 3 of the series. Rest assured, I'll report back what I see.

I would like to point out about Wrigley, that when Bill Veeck, your former owner, retired, he spent his days in the bleachers at Wrigley with his shirt off...just thought I would add that...

And Veeck is the man responsible for the ivy at Wrigley. What's your point.
