I don't understand some of the people here. Everyone has been complaining about KW not getting pitching and then he does and people are still unhappy. Hello! Pitching isn't free.

before being traded to seattle ben davis was a good catcher with the padres. makes me think that they drafted the catchers they did as high as they did for a reason. hmmmm

We just got fleeced by one of the few GMs in baseball worse than KW. Wow.

Thanks KW for trading away 2 of our best young players in order to gt about 15 starts out of Freddie Garcia. This is just terrible.

I understand that the Sox have a bunch of OF propsects (Anderson, LTP, Sweeney, etc.), but they have almost ZERO in terms of catching. I am in shock. Certainly Kenny can't be this bad. I understand wanting to "go for the jugular," but this is just plain stupid. I don't even care about beating the Cubs 2 out of 3 anymore. This has totally ruined my day.

Just announced over ESPN. No mention of the other 4 players in the deal, but you have to assume this is now 100% true.
Welcome to the Sox, Freddy Garcia.

i can only hope that garcia's friendship with ozzie makes him lights out.
im so sad to see olivo go. from what i witnessed at spring training he was one of the sweetest guys in the dugout. everyone liked him and everyone around him was laughing. i'll give this a shot, but i'm really nervous.

Wow, this is a pretty horrible trade if we lose Garcia after the season.
