If this trade really is true, Kenny Williams must be fired.

The only thing that will make this OK is if the Sox win the World Series this year.

Olivo is a future all-star. Reed would have been the #2 hitter next year.

Terrible, terrible trade.

Garcia isn't even an improvement over Garland. Have you guys watched baseball for the last 2 years? He's the most overated pitcher around.

Geez, give this trade some time and see if we go somewhere and/or resign Garcia after the season, or wait to see what other moves are in the works, before crying about it?!

And GUESS what?

NEXT YEAR, we might not have Mags, Frank, Loaiza or Valentin. Two years from now, we might not have Konerko or Lee. Who knows what's going to happen 3 or 4 years from now. You can't always keep thinking about the future, because the present will change along with that. We can't keep waiting. Sometimes you have to go out and get it done.
