What Would Jerry Do?

With the Sox just sweeping the division rival twins, and on a 5 game winning streak, how would Jerry Manuel come into Wriggle this weekend? What would he do to take on the cubs?

One thing that you really criticise JM about, he did want to beat the Cubs. He'd do just about anything to beat them, including pissing off his buddy that ran the Cubs.

My guess is he'd to a lot of tinkering. He'd probably ene try to bring Josh Paul back to the Sox because he's a local guy and have him play 1B instead of Fran or PK.

Whatever JM would do it would definitely sabotage the Sox winning streak.

we probably wouldn't HAVE a 5 game winning streak if jm were still around.

He would have shut it down a couple weeks ago when our starting pitching imploded. Season would have been over.

Actually, isn't July about the time Jerry stopped tinkering with the line-ups? You know, because those games in April, May, and June are just to get everybody warmed up! Whadda strategy!

Exactly, he would have started Cotts last night to give JG a chance to start today, then kept Rauch or Diaz in the rotation and move Loaiza back to next week...

Manuel would've moved Harris to third, and take out Paulie and Frank by moving Crede to 1st and the leadoff spot. He would call up Munoz to pitch the 1st game, Cotts the 2nd, and Wright would be called to pitch the 3rd.

Valentin, Konerko, and Lee would sit out game one.
