I went to the Yankees fan site (www.nyyfans.com) to see what they thought about this trade considering that the Yankees were heavily favored to get Garcia. The general consensus is that we overpaid (funny how they say that of all people) but that both teams make out in the deal. Most Yankee fans posting have all but given us the Central crown and plan to meet us in the ALDS.

Also, looking at that website, the design especially, I realize how vastly superior WSI is.

Wow, that's a really interesting site. Their fan forum is set-up similary to the message boards here on WSI.

Some of the posters were talking about how cool Robin Ventura is for pitching a scoreless inning the other day and how much they'd like to see him back.

Interesting also they called Ordonez "Mags". So, I guess that isn't just a Chicago nickname for him.
