Default Brandon McArthur

ESPN did a story on this young man this morning. McArthur is a shortstop for the University of Florida who is battling back from serious injuries to his brain and spinal cord. McArthur suffered these injuries when someone sucked-punched him last October.

I don't know if anyone else saw the story, but I'm going to be rooting for this kid. Before his injuries, he was considered a top-flight proespect. The Twins made him their fifth-round pick in the 2003 draft. I hope he can make it back and eventually reach the big leagues.
