It's somewhat pointless because he's already gotten to 2,000 Ks and he's second all time and unchallenged for the time being (until Galarraga comes back, if he does). Plus number one on the list is 3-4 years away, even at a Sosa pace.

cubs lose in sosa's return...not so ironic from this angle....his 0-4 showing with two k's helped out.

An angry, depressed Cubbie fan came into my place of work Friday. This
Cubbie fan blamed the loss entirely on Sosa. I actually spoke in Sammy's
defense. Sammy did miss a month.

not to fear though. the back page of the tribe sports section outlines pitch by pitch of all four of sosa's at bats.... hard to miss..... look or the giant print
