As if our two week funk isn't bad enough, it has been coupled with a Cub resurgence. When we were winning, the media hardly said a g**damn thing! But now that the Cubs have managed to have two get two golden-horseshoe-up-the-arse wins in Anaheim and sweep a horribly pathetic Houston team (FIRE JIMY WILLIAMS ALREADY!!), the media is going hog wild over them and Cub fans are calling up sports radio talking out of their arses again!!! The Friday "Murph & Fred" show will be unbearable, unless poor ol' Fred finally snaps and strangles Murph on the air!!!
We went through this crap in 2003, and I'll be damned if we have to go through it in 2004!!! It all makes me want to...

We'll probably be fine once Maggs comes back and we can play in the AL format once again. 2 of 3 against Montreal is expected and a sweep certainly wouldnt hurt our cause. 4 games against a not so great Cleveland team at home after Montreal, so we could/should go 5-2 over the next 7

2003 I'm okay with.
It's 1907 that I don't want to have to deal with.
