Yeah, ready to deal him to a team on the coasts. What else is new.

The White Sox have to be an the equation. Or else Kdub is lying to us, and that would never happen

It said Anaheim is part of the mix, but their outfield is set, so I'm not sure what sense that makes. The Yankees would have to pull off something in order to get around the lack of prospects. Boston very well could be stiff competition, but I certainly feel we are in the running at the very least.

Is KC willing to deal Beltran to a team in the same division? I think it depends somewhat on whether KC thinks that Beltran will sign with the Sox after the season. Given that Boras is his agent, that is in the air. The White Sox certainly have the prospects the Royals would want (Rauch and Borchard).

Dealing a player within the same division is not out of the realm of possibility, as long as the team thinks they benefit the most from the trade (see Bledsoe to the Bills)

Guy's he's not coming here let it go! We have maggs under contract for the rest of the season we are going to try and win it with him and maybe get some more pitching which we need.

Beltran and Maggs play different positions, why can't we have both?

While Beltran would be nice, we have other more pressing needs.

If we get both Garcia/Sheets and Beltran we are in the top 3 teams in the league. I don't see why we can't do it.

I'd make a move for Beltran as long as it doesn't wreck our chances for getting a quality starter and a quality reliever.
