Vladimir Guererro is having one of those nights that most players can only dream about. He has driven in nine runs, with a pair of home runs and a double. I'm glad the White Sox were able to get him out of the way over the weekend. I'm hoping that he will have cooled down by the time the Sox travel to Anaheim.

I remember the night back in 1993 when hard hitting Mark Whitten had 4 hrs and 12 RBIs in one game. I think it was the back end of a DH, and it was about 3:00 in the morning, and only a few hundred people left in Riverfront Stadium.

Back in eithern 76 or 77 Jim Spencer had 11 RBIs in game for Sox

I had Vladdy on my fantasy team during his breakout year. He is definitely one of the top 5 guys I'd love to see don the Sox pinstripes one day.

I agree, although both guys are my favorite players on their respective teams. I'm lucky enough to be able to see Vlad on a regular basis and he rarely disappoints. In the contract sitch, I know Maggs wants to play the field contractually, but he needs to remember NO ONE thought Vlad would end up signing for so little. The market is still depressed. guess he just needs it proved to him.
