Omigod, Pat Borders and Lance Johnson are still hanging on? I guess playing Triple-A ball beats driving a bus.
You would think they had stashed away some of their old MLB salary. |

Johnson, up until a month ago had been playing alongside Canseco for the Newark Bears of the Atlantic League. That is also where Jaime Navarro is.

I never did figure out why we released craig wilson and kept graffignino. Graff is a poor utility infielder.
Simmons never could hit, but he damn sure could field his position. Caruso wasn't very good, but probably better than what we have now. Fordham and Ward are okay middle relievers - big deal. Johnson and Mouton - well, time to find a new job, boys. |
