The M's just put up a 5-spot in the top of the 9th to take a 6-3 lead.

This game is now over. The Mariners won 6-3, so the Sox are seven back of the Royals. Minnesota won tonight, so nothing changes with them. The Sox really need to get going, because Seattle was lucky to win tonight. Kansas City is by no means good enough to win ninety five games, but they could still win the division by default if everyone else manages to suck badly enough.
