Micker Adolfo also will be out for the season after having arthroscopic surgery on his elbow. Should probably add him to the afterthought group of the rebuild now. This is getting pretty bad.

Did he say what Nate Jones was on the list for, or are the White Sox just okay with listing "Nate Jones" on the IL notes at this point.

Damn! Was hoping for better news about and prognosis for Rodon.

Anyone seen anything about Eloy's timetable? He was in the dugout during this past road trip, but I haven't seen anything about a rehab assignment yet.

He will begin a rehab assignment in Charlotte tomorrow.

At this point, I'd like them to put him in a glass case with instructions to open in 2023.

Going forward with the rebuild I would say that Rodon cannot be counted on to be part of it, it's a shame because the talent is there but we have never seen it for any real length of time. As far as Jones goes, we will never see him again in a White Sox uniform.

During one of the games over the weekend, they showed him running the bases. Looked like nothing was bothering him. No gimp, no hobble, no howls of pain.

No offense to Nate Jones, but it doesn't break my heart if I never see him pitch again for the Sox. Somewhere else, fine.

As for Rodon, this sucks. He had some moments where he looked like a legit staff ace and now this. Unbelievable.

Do the Sox sign Keuchel to shore up this thin rotation? Bring up Cease?

I can't imagine the Sox giving up their second round pick for a little over half a season of Keuchel.

Rodon will not be back with the team before free agency. His White Sox career is essentially over.

Won't have to wait too much longer for that not to be the case. After the draft, there's no pick loss.

I'm up for anything at this point.
