I like JB98's line of thinking. Very sound and logical.

I just wonder if Maddon ever gets into WWKD mode? What Would Kaplan Do?

Regardless, I just want the Nats to win tonight. No more Cubs' crap cluttering my newspapers. The Hawks, Trubisky and whatever the hell the Bulls are going to do is just fine with me.

Dusty continuing to show his assclownery, and blows his challenge in the first inning by challenging the tag play on the Jay double, when he was clearly safe.

Michael Taylor is officially my favorite player not on the Sox.

Nats better hold this.

Trea Turner has been bad this series. Could have had a double play right there and only gets one out and loses the force out.

How long is Dusty going to let Gonzalez flounder out there?

Ridiculous that this is only a 1-run game. It's like the big 2nd inning never even happened.

Watching Cub fans turn on Joe Maddon is an underrated joy of this series.

Washington got what they deserved for letting Hendricks put up two scoreless frames after having him on the ropes. ****ing pathetic.

Weiters should not have thrown that ball on drop third strike. Serious **** up there. Of course when Nats have a drop third strike earlier, it hit the ump and didnít go to the back stop. What an awful inning. Scherzer needed to strike out Zobrist there.

So we have a third strike that gets by the catcher, and then he throws it into right field.

That will go down as baseball brilliance by the Cubs, but when AJ went to first on a dropped third strike, he cheated.

I can't really say what I think about that fan base.

It's only the 6th inning and I have no faith the Nats will score even one more run. And they need three. That's how bad these guys are.

IIRC, the Cubs set the record last year for most times a team has been shutout in one postseason...and still won the World Series. How is it possible that teams always seem to have freak injuries--or just seem to forget how to play altogether--when it's time for them to face the Cubs? The Cubs have looked downright *bad* for long stretches these past two postseasons, and teams continue to simply not show up against them.

With their luck, I fully expect that Kershaw will get hurt, and the Yankees will get extremely hot just long enough to knock out the Astros--then turn back into the "inexperienced, 1-2 years away" team they were supposed to be, just in time to face the Cubs.
