Default Cool Fangraphs article on Jose Abreu

Breaks down how Jose Abreu became one of the most complete hitters in baseball.

"When I die, I want to be playing baseball...If I die, I die happy because I was wearing No. 9 for the White Sox.

He said it was a foot injury that send Jose to the DL. Wrong, it was his ankle. I guess this means the whole write-up lacks credibility.

Excellent and enjoyable read.

Things that make you go "Hmmmmm:" Aaron Rowand and Kris Bryant have never been seen in the same room at the same time.

It's almost shocking how well Jose has adjusted this season. I figured he'd be a .260 hitter who hits a lot of homers, strikes out a lot, and doesn't walk in his rookie year, and that he'd figure out the little things over the next season or two. Well, he's already done it. We may have our own Pujols/Cabrera for the next 5+ years.
