And the march towards another top 10 (Maybe Top 5) draft pick continues.

This team has about 2.5 starting pitchers.

This was the only game on this road trip that they got blown out. But still, there 1-7 on this trip. I can't help but wonder if the losing continues what Hahn is going to do. I would think the easiest thing to do would be to replace Ventura. I realize he just signed an extension but I don't think anybody would really care if he was shown the door. The White Sox released and paid off Keppinger and Downs this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Ventura was next.

1-6 in close games takes a lot out of a team and this game showed it.
1970 looks like it's in play. But Robin not finishing the season? C'mon.

Really like the Noesi find.

But beyond that, Coop's magic might be running out.

When are the Sox going to sign their first-round draft choice?

I noticed Avisail on the bench. At least, I thought it was Avisail. He must be traveling with the team now.

Glad to see Abreu batting third, Downs DFA'd, and Flowers benched. Seems like Hahn and Ventura were reading the board last night.

Saw Avisail also. Looks like he's not been skipping many meals while on the shelf.

They better! Avisail's been on the bench I've noticed for a little while now. He was fanning off Abreu with a towel in Baltimore after his last home run. During the fanning, I was hoping he didn't re-injure his labrum. Otherwise, tonight's game was pretty unwatchable.

Everything since the Giants series has reminded me a lot of last year when the train derailed on Memorial Day.

The Sox swept Miami and were .500 and I was feeling decent about where they were. Then they went 1-10 in the next 11 games against the Cubs, A's, and Mariners and looked absolutely awful doing it.

Games like tonight are the reason it is so important to win games early on a long road trip. The Sox played 12 innings last night. Then, they had to travel. They are coming toward the end of the trip. The schedule caught up with them, and they were just flat as hell.

Losses like this happen on long trips, but it would be so much easier to tolerate had they won the winnable games in Minnesota and Baltimore.

Default Eaton left in the first inning with left leg cramps, hopes to return Friday

"It didn't look good, it didn't feel good," Eaton said. "We'll be kind of day to day, I guess right now. I feel better after some of the treatment I've been doing. We'll continue to work on it."
Eaton's streak of reaching safely in 20 consecutive games was the longest by a White Sox player since Juan Pierre reached in 29 straight games in 2010.
