I guess a shaky save is better than a blown save, and the team really needed that win. However, the bullpen performance the last two innings didn't inspire a lot of confidence.
JB's attendance record:

Maybe you just don't know as much as you think you do.
It's generally a good idea but I wouldn't bind myself to it in all situations. Depending on the opponent, particularly how their bullpen shapes up I just might go against it. Another thing. If I have strong hitters I just might say the hell with it. You know some left handed batters do OK against left handed pitchers. In baseball, and in life I do not care for set in stone rules, and no I'm not a doctor, but I do have a worthless M.A. in a you can't make any money on it field.

Why can't we do both?? Maybe Robin wants Gillaspie in front of Abreu to spur the offense. Move Conor to 2nd. Eaton hits lefties just as well as righties and Conor has hit lefties pretty well. So bringing in a lefty reliever to pitch to them would not be much of a negative. It also would improve the number of 1st and 3rd chances for Abreu since Beckham is not walking much so his OBP is not that great. Then you move DeAza and Flowers up a spot and hit Beckham 9th and youimprove the LRL combos at the end of the order.
