And just did one of the coolest gestures you'll ever see to finish a game, give the ball to some kid sitting in the stands.

Class act!

Nice win to get back to .500. This is why you have an ace.

Even with that one pitch knocked for a HR, he still pitched a gem. Perhaps it's the power of that 'stache.

Great job Chris!

Best pitcher in the game.

His WHIP is ridiculous!

K/9 and K:BB are spectacular.

Semien sent down, and DeAza survives yet again.

Amazing how a negative value player can still hold a roster spot.

Can we multiple clone Chris Sale.

Someone on Facebook said the ballpark was packed today, only 23,000 paid,
were there lots of comps today?

On TV it looked about 2/3 full.

So 23K sounds accurate.

Under abundance of available outfielders and of course the 3 million other reasons.

It's fun to watch a pitcher just totally dominate the other team like that .. reminds me of the greats from the past .. the Padres announcer said that he thought at times that Sale was toying with the batters .. they were highly impressed .. nice to have this game before going west .. going to be tough in L.A.

Now now, Todd Hollandsworth assured me that Jeff Samardzija is the best pitcher in baseball...

But seriously Sale is out of this world. A true joy to watch.
