Default Stadium Club

Question: My family is taking me to the game on Sunday for Father's Day. It will also be my kids, ages 19 months and 3 years, first time at the Cell. I'm realistic in that I'm likely to see little of the game, though think it should be fun. That being said, I have access to Stadium Club passes though don't know how many I will need. First, will they let my kids in and second, does everyone in my group (two adults and the two kids listed above) need a pass.

Thanks!

First off, Happy Father's Day! Glad to hear they are bringing you out to the ballpark! Glad you are able to get out for your first time!

Next, You will need a stadium club pass for each child that is more than 36 inches. Phrased differently, if the child is less than 36 inches they will NOT need a pass. That being said, 19 months should be OK without one and three years could be right on the cusp (from my experience).

Let me know if you have any other questions, and I am happy to help.

Also, make sure you stop by the guest relations booth behind home plate to pick up your first game certificate! Definitely a fun way to commemorate the occasion.

Lastly, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Enjoy your first game up there in the club, and hope for short children!

If you're using somebody's season passes you get 4 (if they didn't keep any for themselves) If you have more people than passes that usually isn't a problem. Just show the guy a couple passes, say "they're with me" and he should let you up. You can get in from ground level (outside the park) between gates 2 and 3 (you will be wanded) and also from the 100 level (near ramp 2/xfinity zone) if you decide to to into the park first. If you have upper deck seats they may give you a problem but just say you're going to/staying in the club. Basically, once you get on the elevator, you're in, they won't check for passes once you get off the elevator. You WILL need the "credit card only" stub on your pass to buy stuff though, as they don't take cash. They have a pretty decent kids meal, huge desserts, etc.

Couple of other points.

If you're going on Sunday, they have a pretty nice brunch upstairs. I think it was $17.95, but you're good for the day after that.

They only take credit cards (maybe debit, but I never tried.)

Check your bill. They include a service charge, which is the tip, but also incuding a tip line on the credit card bill. I HATE that, not because I want to vary my tip by that much, but you feel cheap by not filling in that line. I hope the service charge amount is going to the server, but I wish they would drop that service charge line and let you tip like you do at 97% of the restaurants in town.

You really will enjoy it, if not just for the elevator.

I have been told the servers don't get all of the automatic gratuity. I always leave a bit more, or leave some cash for them.
