So true. The team remains interesting even in games that they eventually lose. Sweep!

Sweeping a team is always fun. It was nice to see that maybe Noesi turned a corner. These guys do know how to win late.

That's got to be the coolest wavier claim ever. One Sunday afternoon, we beat his ever living brains in, the next day Texas cuts him, the next day we sign him. And from the outset, the dugout was convinced he was a starter, despite mediocre or worse results. And they were right.

Between witnessing the Sierra walk off and hearing the Handzus goal on the radio, a very happy birthday me

Fun game to attend, getting me one game above .500 the same day that the Sox achieve that mark.

It was fun to watch the loudmouth Cleveland fans in 130 slink off into the night, in defeat.

The Sox at times do a fine job with these reclamation projects.

Cleveland fans were insufferable last year. Really happy to see us beat their overachieving ball club, and knocking Swisher down a peg never gets old.

With the Sierra game winning hit in the 9th and the Handzus' game winner for the Hawks, it was time to break One After 909 out again!

Oh and

I don't see an error int he top of the ninth in the play-by-play. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong summary with incorrect scoring decisions. What I see is Belisario giving up a game-tying hit wtih two outs and two strikes on the hitter.

The only error in the game I see is the Indians' error on a ground ball by Flowers to lead off the bottom of the ninth. Garcia pinch runs, steals second. Semien moves him to third, setting up the game-winning hit.

The Sox took the lead the previous inning on a Beckham walk, a Gillaspie hit send him to third, a walk to Viciedo, who may have been pitched around because the Indians believed Dunn could be a likely strikeout, and a Dunn fly out deep enough to score Beckham. The previous inning, after failing to get the runner from third with one out, Semien picked up Flowers with a clutch two-out single to to the game.

Score those runs when you have the chance and you have a chance to win.

The blown save by Belisario was a bit disappointing, especially after last night. But that was the only real complaint. I didn' think a two-strike-two-out home run by Giambi would be enough to beat the Sox tonight. That it was Noesi's only mistake was impressive, probably his most impressive start of the year.

It's nice to sweep the Indians, especially during a week when the Astros are sweeping the Royals in Kansas Ciy, the wins are losing two of three to the Rangers and the the A's, who appeared tonight to be on the verge of taking two out of three in Oakland, lost two of three to the A's with Joe Nathan giving up a three-run homer while protecting a 1-0 ninth-inning lead.
