Seems to be a noticeable space between the 11 and the 16 in the retired numbers.

Also note the absence of any mention of US Cellular Field

All 92 luxury suites in the park will be equipped with an Asus computer tablet that will allow fans to order food, call a server, buy merchandise, engage in social media and watch highlights of other games from their seats.

Just had one of those new turkey carved sandwiches. Very delicious.

Xfinity zone seemed nice today. Little place to grab some good. Field looked nice. Why no opening day paint on the field today though??

Just a hunch, but they had to do so much work just to get the field in shape after the winter that they probably didn't want to spend any extra time/effort on something like that.

Anybody get the helmet sundae? The price per scoop is pretty low and then it has a lot of stuff on it. And you get a helmet to keep for your sundae at home. Lol

Those things are going to turn into soup fast come July.

The actual background is grey. They must have done some processing on that picture, but it is not white where you'd lose a ball.

This sundae has gotten national attention. Great job by the marketing department. How about an eating contest where they see who can eat one of these sundae the fastest (like the hot dog eating competitions they have)

I would also be impressed if somebody post a video of somebody eating the whole thing by him or herself and then putting the helmet on their head or somebody else's head.

Or maybe the players could use this instead of the shaving cream pie in the face. How about a 12 scoop sundae in your face?

Not really, especially if the team gets good and people actually go to the park. People would have to pay a lot for tix and out of towners still may not know this. Not everyone reads the fine print on stuff.

When they completed the original renovations, I was hoping they would use a brick cover, similar to that on the main concourse and Fundamentals, however this is still an improvement.

It's hard to believe the ballpark is already almost 25 years old so I guess some new paint in areas is required.
