Noesi - Arb1 (2014: $512K)
Surkamp - Arb1 (2014: minimum)

Pre-Arb:
Bassitt

Cleto
Danks, J. (Arb 2016)

Garcia, A
Garcia, L.
Gillaspie (Arb 2016)

Buyouts from 2014:

Curious to see who we non-tender. Also it would behoove us to lock up Eaton and Avisail fairly soon. That could limit what we could spend this offseason.

I enjoy that you listed them as J. Danks and J. Danks.

Yeah, you could at least do Jo. Danks and Jo. Danks so we knew who was who.

LOL! Didn't notice that. :D

Pretty easy to tell who's who...

I love having John Danks around as an inning eater, but that's a tough number to take.

If I remember correctly, Paulie gets $1M each year til like 2020 or 2021. I'm not a payroll expert, so does that count towards it as well or no? (I would imagine it does.)

Belisario and Viciedo should both be non-tendered. Replacing them with kids almost completely covers Keppinger's dead money.

Wow I love seeing those team friendly dollar signs considering those are three All-Stars and one potential All-Star!!! A great core for the next couple years.

Totally agree about Adam and Avi. I am loving the versatility for the IF too with Semien, Sanchez and Connor (Please no more Leury. Love his speed but he is baaaaad). Jo. Danks fills in nicely as 4th OF and pinch runner.

Now let's get some pitching, DH, and quality OF help!

To me it's pretty clear Danks is done and sadly wont be anywhere near the same pitcher again. Anyone else? It's torture to watch him pitch these days after being so good in...2009 or whenever.

Is it crazy to want him DFA'd, kinda like Uggla was? There are some similarities there. Both signed to contacts that either some (Danks) or all (Uggla) thought were bad at the time, both to the tune of 50+ mil, and...both are now terrible.

This team is now pretty young has a good chunk of change to spend if they so choose. I would hate to see Danks struggle again next year and put up another 5 ERA effort and bog down the promise of some newly acquired players and the good juju built up from seasons by Abreu, Sale, Eaton, Alexei etc.

I guess if my wish doesn't come true there's always hoping Danks is mediocre enough for the Yankee's to kick the tires on him in July.
