Default Mathematical correlation between farm system ranks and winning

Is there a study out there that shows a relationship between farm system "rankings" translating to actually winning more (or less) games in a certain amount of time? I used baseball america's rankings below for a quick glance, and nothing really popped out between 2000-2005 anyways. WS winners Giants, Cardinals, Yankees were all in the bottom half in 2006; Red Sox number 8. Maybe there is another way to better rank systems (number of high draft picks?)
